The Foundation “Public Interest Advocacy Center” is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization founded in 2009, which deals with supporting the building of civil society and education through training of professionals and CSOs, promotion in the direction of strengthening civic courage and civic initiatives independently or in cooperation with state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, local and international institutions and organizations.

She obtained her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo, Department of Psychology, in 2020. In 2019, through Psiho-Integrum Sarajevo and the GPTIM Institute Malta, she completed specialist training and earned the title of Gestalt Therapist.
She has been with the CPI Foundation since 2014, where she has worked on designing, implementing, and reporting research findings and recommendations; writing and managing projects of various scopes and durations; conducting promotion and advocacy activities; and managing human resources. For CPI, she adapted the methodology of the Open Budget Survey for all levels of government, enabling the Foundation’s staff to plan and implement advocacy activities precisely aligned with research findings.
At CPI, she has led several projects, most notably a four-year advocacy project on civil society sustainability, which successfully contributed to changes in the legislative framework for budget reporting in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is the author of the “Guide for Creating a Citizens Budget,” widely distributed and used by municipal, cantonal, and entity-level government representatives, which led to increased publication of this document.
In 2017, she was recognized among the 1,000 most significant young innovators dedicated to sustainable development goals by the United Nations (UNLEASH 2017). She is also a member of the winning team of the regional open data competition “Ministry of Data 2017.”
In 2018, she collaborated on the international project “Cathexis – Truth on Trial” (Creative Europe), together with the Department of Psychology at Utrecht University, where she developed, implemented, and evaluated the methodology of a social experiment. Since 2019, she has worked as an international consultant in human resource management, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic and operational planning.
Since 2023, she has served as the Executive Director of the CPI Foundation. Her areas of interest include research methodology, open data, and evidence-based advocacy. In her work, she values innovation, initiative, respect, and responsibility.

She earned her Master’s degree at the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies at the University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the University of Bologna, Department of European Studies, in 2011.
She has been employed at the CPI Foundation since July 2009. Over more than a decade of professional experience, she has held various roles in project management related to budget reform at all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting as a project coordinator, then project manager, and most recently as a grant manager.
Through the implementation of various programs focused on responsible budgeting—from the cantonal to the state level—she has been directly involved in advocating for broader public participation in these processes, as well as in advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening oversight of the budget process.
Since 2012, she has served as the lead researcher for the Open Budget Survey for Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with the International Budget Partnership. She is the author of brochures with recommendations for improving the budget process across all 14 levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as publications with recommendations for budget oversight intended for civil society organizations in the country.
Her areas of interest include good governance, European integration, and international relations.

He obtained his Master’s degree from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo, Department of Security and Peace Studies, in 2018. Following this, he began working as a project assistant at the CPI Foundation on the project “Budget Academy,” where he supported civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina in applying for budget funds.
Since 2018, he has been involved in monitoring public procurement as part of the project “Supporting Citizens in the Fight Against Corruption.” He administers and moderates the platform Center 72 for the cities of Tuzla and Zenica and organizes various events aimed at raising awareness among young people about whistleblowing and reporting corruption.
He is a member of the Council of the “Open Government Partnership” in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the author of the reports “Open Data in Public Procurement in Bosnia and Herzegovina” and “Findings of the Initial Report on Internal Inspection.”
His areas of interest include anti-corruption efforts, whistleblower protection, community work, research, and innovative solutions through the use of open data.
